The Complete Roadmap For New Players

Pickleball is fun, social, and easy to pick up — but like any sport, getting started the right way helps you progress smoothly. We’ve designed a three-step learning path to guide new players from zero experience to confidently joining open play sessions.

This is your very first class — perfect for absolute beginners. In this 60 minute session, an instructor will teach you the basics: how to hold the paddle, how to serve, scoring, court positioning, and the fundamental rules. You'll also get 10-15 minutes of on-court play to try things out.
Starting with a structured class helps you build a solid foundation and avoid common beginner mistakes (like foot positioning or basic serve rules). It’s low pressure, supportive, and a great way to meet other new players!
This is the next essential step after your Intro Clinic, designed for players who know the basics but need to learn how to actually play the game. Across four, two-hour sessions, you will focus on tactical elements like dinks, third shot drops, court positioning, and executing fundamental shots consistently under pressure.
The series is your bridge from recreational hitting to confident game play, providing the skills you need to move beyond being a beginner. You will eliminate common errors, understand court strategy, and gain the technical consistency required to jump into competitive, level-appropriate open play.

This is two hours of social, non-competitive play, designed for players who have completed the Intermediate Series. You simply show up, match with others of a similar skill level, and rotate partners and opponents to maximize your game time.
This is the perfect, low-pressure opportunity to apply the skills and strategies learned in your clinics to real game scenarios. You will build court confidence, develop better consistency, and easily meet other players at your current skill level for ongoing play.
Our coaches are your best resource; don't hesitate to ask them questions after a clinic or for personalized feedback on your technique.
Learning alongside friends makes the experience more fun and provides instant partners for practice sessions outside of the structured clinics.
Mistakes are a normal and necessary part of the learning process, so focus on having fun and celebrating small improvements instead of dwelling on errors.
No, you don't need to bring a thing! We provide all the necessary equipment, including paddles and balls, for every clinic. That being said, you're more than welcome to bring your own paddle if you already have one!
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled clinic start time. This gives you enough time to check in, meet your instructor, locate your assigned court, and quickly warm up before the official instruction begins.
We recommend wearing comfortable, athletic clothing that allows for a full range of motion, similar to what you would wear for tennis or general exercise. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated!
No, you do not need to be a member to participate in our Intro to Pickleball Clinics! These programs are specifically designed for brand new players to learn the sport in a supportive environment.
